Insurance Industry Development Opportunities
Pursuing insurance designations and building your expertise in the insurance field are highly encouraged. Guidance and counseling are provided for those interested in accessing industry-related education opportunities available from the following:

  • The Institutes (CPCU/IIA)
  • Professional Liability Underwriting Society—PLUS (RPLU)
  • American Educational Institute—AEI (Claims Law)
  • International Risk Management Institute—IRMI

Employees are eligible to receive up to 100% reimbursement for all insurance industry courses. Technical insurance courses must be offered by a nationally recognized independent professional organization to be eligible.

Additional Programs to Support Your Development
Educational Assistance Program
After your first year of service, we offer a robust Educational Assistance Program to give you the opportunity to refine your skills and build new ones by taking college and/or graduate courses and degree programs, professional designation programs, personal growth programs, and technical insurance programs. You can receive up to 100% of tuition and 50% of book costs for eligible educational programs up to a maximum amount of $5,250 per calendar year.

Mentoring Program
This formal program is designed to connect employees interested in learning a particular skill or acquiring specific knowledge with a mentor who is willing to guide the employee.

Career Planning Resources
From one-on-one career coaching to formal networking opportunities, our resources will support you in managing your career. We also have an online tool that can assess your skills and provide career path guidance.

Leadership Development
